Part 1: Conversation محادثة
This is a simple conversation between two people who meet each other for the first time:
هذه محادثة بين شخصين التقوا لاول مرة .. طبعا لم اترجمها عن قصد .. لكي تبحثوا على الكلمات التي لم تفهموها أو تسألوا..
Person A: hi. My name is Ahmed.
Person B: hi. I'm Ali, I am glad to meet you.
Person A: I am glad to meet you, too. Where are you from?
Person B: I'm from Egypt. Where are you from?
Person A: from Yemen.
Person B: why did you come here?
Person A: I came here to study English at this school before I go to another school to study computer programming. How about you?
Person B: I'm an engineer.
Person A: What do you do in your free time?
Person A: I read a lot, watch TV, so on. How about you?
Person B: I like to get on the Internet.
Person A: what do you do when you are online?
Person B: I visit many different websites. It is a good way to practice my English.
Person A: that is really interesting.
Person B: Thanks. It has been nice talking with you.
Person A: I enjoyed it, too.
Part 2: Sentence structure in English تركيب الجملة باللغة الانجليزية
Rule 1:
الجمل في اللغة العربية تنقسم الى نوعين جملة اسمية وفعلية، بينما في اللغة الانجليزية فالجملة نوع واحد فقط وهي جملة اسمية كالتالي :
الفاعل (Subject ) + الفعل (Verb) + المفعول به (Object) + تكملة الجملة (Compliment)
Subject (S) +Verb (V) + Object (O) +Complement (Com)
The sun(S) rises. (V)
Cow (S) eats (V) grass (O).
I (S) put (V) my book (O) in the desk (Com).
لايكمن ان تبدأ الجملة الانجليزية بفعل ما عدا الجمل الامرية فهي تبدأ بفعل لان الفاعل (انت) مقدر ..
There is an exception that imperative sentence begins with verb because the subject is implied. For instance:
Sit down! (You sit down)
Stand up! (You stand up)
Go out! (You go out)
Rule 2 :
Pronouns الضمائر
Personal Pronouns: الضمائر الشخصية التي تسبق الفعل
I, he, she, it للمفرد
They, we, للجمع
You, للمفرد و الجمع
Examples:
I am a student. We are students.
You are student. He is a student.
She is a student. It is a cat.
They are students.
NOTE:
("am" always comes with I; "is" always comes with singular "she, he, it" and "are" comes with plural "they and you")
Object Pronouns: ضمائر المفعول به تحل محل المفعول به

I gave you a book. لقد اعطيتك كتابا .
